Canberra’s largest art market dedicated exclusively to First Nations art returns for another year to support the ethical purchase of authentic Australian Indigenous art.
The AIATSIS Indigenous Art Market (IAM) showcases a diverse range of paintings, textiles, sculptures, jewellery and much more, and importantly, 100 per cent of sales from the art market goes back to the participating art centres, artists, and their communities.
Building on last year’s successful market – artists are eager to return to Canberra to engage with the local community and the broader network of First Nation creatives.
The AIATSIS IAM offers both in-person and online shopping experiences. This event celebrates Indigenous art and artists from all over Australia, sparking important conversations about the power and importance of First Nation art.
The art market is free for members of the public to attend online and in person. Mark your calendars and join us for #IAMaiatsis.
For further information, visit the AIATSIS website here, or follow the Facebook event page for all updates.
