The staff at the National Capital Authority (NCA) have diverse and highly valued set of skills.
As the agency responsible for ensuring Canberra is a beautiful national capital our work includes planning, state management, organising events and tours for the general public. Our people are highly motivated and engaged in the work they do and proud of the things they deliver. We know there is always room for improvement and the NCA's 2024 Census results gives us a great reference point.
We have developed an action plan to address key issues for our staff. Over the course of 2025, we will continue to support our staff to enhance their skills and capabilities as we implement the action plan and make improvements to make NCA an even greater place for our staff.
The NCA's 2024 Census results, along with our action plan can be found at the bottom of this page.
We acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as traditional custodians of the ACT and recognise any other people or families with connection to the lands of the ACT and region.
We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
