The NCA is responsible for the management of a portfolio of car parks located on National Land throughout Canberra’s Central National Area.

As part of the implementation of pay parking on National Land, the NCA has undertaken a program of works over a number of years to upgrade parking areas. Works are being prioritised in line with available funding. 

One of the car park improvements being undertaken is car park lighting. Lighting is being upgraded and/or installed in accordance with Australian Standards for open space lighting.
