The National Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking volunteers to participate in our Clean Up Australia Day - Lake Burley Griffin. 

The event will be held on Sunday 2 March 2025 between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at five locations around Lake Burley Griffin. 

The locations include:

• Black Mountain
• Grevillea Beach  
• Lotus Bay
• Weston Park  
• Yarralumla Beach/Bay

What do I need to bring?

Hat, sunscreen, drink bottle and sturdy shoes.

What will be provided.

Bags, gloves and equipment will be provided 

What would volunteers do? 

Volunteers will walk around the areas collecting rubbish near the shoreline of the lake.

The Clean Up Lake Burley Griffin event is being held as part of Clean Up Australia Day that is held in March annually.
