Celebrate Spring at Floriade 2026: Feast of Flowers
An unforgettable floral experience set within Canberra’s iconic National Triangle. Showcasing more than one million blooms in a spectacular display of colour, creativity and natural beauty, Floriade invites visitors to immerse themselves in a vibrant celebration of flowers, gardens and community.

This year’s theme, Feast of Flowers, offers a sensory celebration inspired by nature’s abundance. Explore beautifully curated landscapes, take part in interactive experiences, and enjoy the sights, scents and colours that make Floriade Australia’s premier flower festival.
Stroll through breathtaking garden beds, discover stunning floral installations, and enjoy a program packed with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, workshops, markets, and delicious food and drink offerings. Whether you’re a passionate gardener, a keen photographer, or simply looking for a memorable day out, there is something to delight every visitor.
Find Your Way to Floriade
Park and walk to make the most of your Floriade visit and enjoy a picturesque walk to the festival from one of many car parks around Floriade. Take a stress-free walk over Commonwealth Avenue Bridge or Kings Avenue Bridge and stop by one of the colourful pansie photo frames (from 12 September) to capture the perfect spring snapshot.
As you wander through the National Triangle, you'll encounter some of Canberra’s iconic landmarks, including the National Carillon, the Captain Cook Memorial Jet and sweeping views of Lake Burley Griffin. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience Floriade while discovering the beauty, history and attractions that surround our beautiful lake.

Lake Burley Griffin is Canberra’s #1 Leisure Attraction and no wonder! It features the popular Bridge to Bridge 5km paved walk connecting Kings Avenue Bridge and Commonwealth Bridge.
Along the way, visit the National Carillon, historic Blundells Cottage or one of the eateries for a cafe, high tea, or al la carte restaurant experience.
Hire a boat (paddle or self-drive) or take a cruise and pass the impressive Captain Cook Memorial Jet, the fountain which shoots out and incredible 500 litres of water per second.
The National Triangle tells the stories of Australia and we’re keen to share them with you through our guided or self-guided tours. Reconciliation Place tours tell indigenous stories from dreamtime to recent significant events. Anzac Parade sits below the Australian War Memorial and features 13 grand memorials which honour the courage, sacrifice and spirit of Australian and New Zealand soldiers.
The National Carillon is one of Canberra’s most cherished landmarks and houses 57 bronze bells that majestically ring out across the water. Tours offer an unforgettable experience to enter the imposing structure, watch the carillonists in action and inspect the giant bells. Visit one of the many museums and galleries including the National Museum, Art Gallery and Portrait Galleries of Australia. They house impressive permanent collections and exciting short-term exhibitions. Explore the open spaces in between to discover the many statues, monuments, and memorials to significant Australian people and events.
