Get ready to paddle through history as part of Lake Burley Griffin’s 60th anniversary celebrations! Join fellow paddlers for two unique routes on the lake, exploring either the western reaches near Scrivener Dam or the eastern basins.
Along the 10-12 km journey, participants will reflect on the lake’s design, planning, and management since 1964, sharing stories along the way. Don’t forget your kayak, safety gear, and personal flotation device.
Meeting points are at Yarralumla Beach and Lotus Bay. Both paddle and route are weather dependent. Limited to 12 spots per route.
