Welcome to the Floriade Walk of Art within the National Triangle
Experience the vibrant beauty of Floriade 2024 like never before with our unique walking trail around Lake Burley Griffin. From 9 September to 21 October 2024, the National Capital Authority are excited to unveil 60 stunning flower crates installed at 13 scenic locations along the Central Basin foreshore Lake Burley Griffin.
As part of this year’s Floriade theme, ‘Art In Bloom,’ these specially curated planter boxes are more than just floral displays—they’re interactive art installations designed to enrich your visit. Many of the locations will feature artistic frames or cutouts that invite you to become part of the art. Snap a selfie with our floral creations and share in the joy of ‘Art In Bloom’! If you are walking from the City, the walk from the Light Rail stop via City Walk and Allara Street to Floriade takes about 15 minutes. Follow the Floriade Walking Trail through the city and admire the public art along the way. Click here to view the map of the City Centre Floriade Walking Trail.
