Belconnen, Sections 44 and 49 (Cameron Offices)
On 20 October 2008 the National Capital Authority (NCA) approved Development Control Plan (DCP) No. 171/08/0003 Belconnen, Section 44 and 49 (Cameron Offices).
The subject sites known as the Cameron Offices are located within the Belconnen Town Centre. The offices were the subject of pertial demolition and the remnant offices (Wings 3, 4 and 5 and the bridge over Cameron Avenue) are listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List (CHL ID 105410). They are to be conserved in accordance with their heritage significance.
The approved DCP provides guidance for the preparation of redevelopment proposals for the subject site within the framework of the National Capital Plan and the applicable Territory Plan.
