The following formal submission have been made public
Submitter: Jeffrey MountAnzac Hall and Glazed Link
I am a retired RAN Dental Officer from the good old days of conscription for the Vietnam war.
I have an ongoing interest in returned men & women from all our conflicts and peacekeeping missions.
I would like the Post-Vietnam operations performed by our troops to be properly recognized by having proportional space allotted in the new ANZAC Hall please.
At this stage, it seems that only 4% of the ANZAC Hall space will be allotted to this group of veterans & their history, yet their ongoing efforts are indeed current, if not expanding, whereas the efforts and sacrifices of veterans from past conflicts are now acknowledged and complete.
It might be prescient to allow for expansion of current & future recognitions going forwards rather than allot a minimal space now and see it effectively become smaller in perspective as our tasks as a Nation continue to grow.
