Submission to the Australian War Memorial

i wish to support these changes to the War Memorial to ensure it remains representative of all our veterans especially those since WW2 who are underrepresented in the War Memorial as it currently stands. The new entrance will make access easier for older veterans.

i support this extension as part of energy efficiency for the memorial and appropriate support buildings.

I consider this expansion to be vital to fully represent our veterans since the second World War. My son has served since 1998 and has lost mates in action in Afghanistan. Their activities are barely mentioned. We need to acknowledge all our veterans appropriately. The brilliance of the War Memorial at representing our military history until WW2 is unsurpassed but since then there has not been room to properly represent what we have asked our military to do. This expansion is needed to properly tell their story which has built on the ethos of former generations of military. As a Canberran and a frequent visitor I see this expansion as completely necessary. I wish to demonstrate my strong support for this project.
