New Southern Entrance

The changes to the southern facade of the Memorial, as set out in Main Works Package 1, will enhance the significance of the Memorial site by allowing greater accessibility for all visitors.

Anzac Hall and Glazed Link

The proposed new Anzac Hall and Glazed link will maintain and enhance the pre-eminence of the role of Canberra and the Territory as the centre of National Capital functions, and as the symbol of Australian national life and values. They will achieve this by creating new spaces for Australian history to be told and for the Memorial to better reflect contemporary Australia.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as traditional custodians of the ACT and recognise any other people or families with connection to the lands of the ACT and region.

We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
