Submission to the Australian War Memorial

I am amazed at the effort made to ensure the changes are sympathetic to the original design, retaining the prominence of the old building and entrance, yet affording a significant improvement to the facilities, access and parade ground. The results are outstanding.

The original Anzac Hall was a big improvement, enhancing the visitor experience. This new Anzac Hall takes the experience to another level again. The combination of glazed link and new Anzac Hall, strongly supports the original structure, resulting in a truly amazing outcome. The glazing, and use of copper, sandstone and glass will make this a facility generations of children will come to remember.
What I would like to see is much more seating made available.
