After having worked 16-17 years in a Veterans PTSD program, I very much support the aims of the Project for expanding the exhibit area to properly tell the stories of Australian military AND police Veterans who have served in the ADF post-Vietnam. There is indeed a gap of public awareness about our military service history of the last 50 years, and the great diversity of operations, including little known or remembered (myself included, until working in the program) of peacekeeping missions since 1947, humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts.
