Australia's post-Vietnam veterans sadly lack appropriate recognition in the community. Despite enormous personal and family sacrifice and commitment there is little official respect paid to them. Please address this shortcoming by celebrating their missions and personal achievements in a very public manner. Doing so at the point of pilgrimage for non-serving Australians would be a fine start.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as traditional custodians of the ACT and recognise any other people or families with connection to the lands of the ACT and region.

We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
