Submission to the Australian War Memorial

I do not support these changes to the War Memorial given its heritage value, as well as the ridiculously large amount of money this is going to cost.

This strikes me as incredibly inappropriate to make such a display of military hardware. It runs counter to what I believe the war memorial should be. It comes disturbingly close to glorifying war.

Perhaps these items could be displayed in a separate museum at a different location to the war memorial.

This extension also raises value for money concerns given the obscene amount of money being discussed.

In general, I think the whole plan should be halted, and the need re-assessed.
