The following formal submission have been made public
Submitter: Garry PluisNew Southern Entrance
I give total support to the changes of the Southern Entrance and the entire design concept.
The effort applied to these plans to ensure the changes are sympathetic too, and support the original Griffin ideal is outstanding, bringing major improvements to the access and facility of the AWM while maintaining, or even enhancing, the vista from Anzac Parade.
Also, the inclusion of terraces about the parade ground are a welcome asset for those who attend formal ceremonies.

Bean Building Extension and Central Energy Plant
I give total support to the changes of the Bean Building Extension and Central Energy Plant.
This is a logical addition to the existing facility and as the collection grows via donations and other means it needs to be secured and maintained. The design allows for the relocation of the existing research area to allow for more collection space and to supply a greatly enhanced facility for the visiting public and researchers. This part of the plan is also creating a minimal impact while conforming to the original concept ideals.

Anzac Hall and Glazed Link
I give total support to the upgrade of Anzac Hall and the Glazed Link as it will allow for a more inclusive museum and Memorial. One that can run exhibits for all of Australia’s engagements, whether they were for humanitarian aid, disaster relief, peacekeeping or to assist in warfare. The greater ability to tell the story of Australia’s involvements, to let those who were involved reflect on their experience, and to educate or inspire future generations will be a true legacy.
