All three proposed additions to the AWM appear to be thoughtfully and professionally designed to complement and enhance the experience by all visitors and those attending both internal and external parades and acknowledgments .

Updating / upgrading this area to deal with today’s modern requirements to complement the extensions plan is an obvious must do addition.

All the modern day engagements undertaken by the ADF and other supporting arms are entitled to various forms of recognition in line with past commitments. Having served in both Malaya and Vietnam , I feel it is a must to honour and display details of all commitments post WW11. To be able to display some of those larger military items not generally on actual display previously is a must . Knowledge of all those who have served and their stories is something so important educationally for current young people and those to come. These types of displays may also assist members dealing with health issues from service .l
