I would like to support the extended section of Block 3 and 5, section 39 of the Australian War Memorial Project to include Australian military and police veterans who have served in the ADF Post Vietnam, 50 years of service should be included, not lost but adequately covered where service men and woman since 1947 have served Australia in human aid, disaster relief, particularly service in Afghanistan, Syria where the SAS bravely served; they are the first servicemen who are commissioned to preform the most dangerous situations. None of these men MUST NOT be omitted. Over the past 12 months of the ADF Co has conducted high treason, poor administration and unethical actions and has covered up the actions taken by the commanding officers in Afghanistan, they are responsible for their soldiers and failed to support the SAS service men. Like it or not ADF Officers, the SAS soldiers are the backbone of Australian defense, the first called on to preform the most dangerous missions. These SAS service men must be included in the history for heir selfless service and all service credits given.
Our Robinson, Robertson, MacKay, and Fraser families have served over 100 years, we are very grateful for their service, as we are for all service men and woman who have served in many ways to keep our country free and provide disaster and humanitarian services for or on behalf of our country.
The current situation we currently face clearly displays how much we need our SAS soldiers to feel needed, appreciated, and strong. Not undermined, degraded, feeling unsupported, abused and left out. This is totally unacceptable!
Thanks. NJR
