As a current serving member of 27 years, I look forward to returning to the expanded memorial. I have regularly visited the memorial with my extended family especially the Conflicts 1945 to Today Gallery, as I can discuss and reflect on my involvement in Iraq 2003. This is very important to me and them. The one thing I notice each time I return is the 2003 gulf display has been squashed and included in the Afghanistan war display. I feel this is because of the lack of space not a lack of expertise in the AWM staff. The AWM is reduced to keeping adding content to the limited space. The AWM has to grow over time or the Iraqi and Afghanistan conflicts (the longest in the country's history) will lose fidelity.
AWM keep up that great work, expand so as to keep the service of current and future sailors, soldiers and aviators being recognised and respected.
The AWM provides a great service to the personnel that served this country. Please keep going!
