Project Timeline

Following the awarding of the Head Contract, the project will progress in stages. 

  • Final design planning and early works will be finalized over the next seven months. 
  • Construction works will commence in Spring 2025. 
  • Works will be undertaken on the western span of the Bridge in 2026. 
  • Works will be undertaken on the eastern span of the Bridge in 2027. 
  • The construction works are expected to be completed in 2027.  

We will update information on the project program for the construction phase as it becomes available.
