Australian Parliament House - Christmas Giving Tree 2023

With a giant Christmas tree, choirs singing carols and a range of Christmas themed delights in the Queen’s Terrace Café, Parliament House is the place to visit this festive season.

Every year Parliament House helps raise money through the Giving Tree for two charities who do important work for our community.

The two organisations that have been nominated for the 2023 charities are:

• Community First Development, a First Nations’ led community development and research organisation
• Foodbank NSW and ACT, Australia's largest food relief organisation

You can see the 6-metre-tall Christmas Giving Tree in the Marble Foyer and donate to the organisations via the QR codes next to the tree on your next visit to Parliament House.

Christmas groups and choirs

Enjoy a selection of beautiful Christmas themed performances and choirs throughout this festive season on your visit to Parliament House!

These performances will be sharing the Christmas spirit until Friday 22 December 2023.

• Belconnen High School, Monday 4 December, 11:30 am to 12:00 pm
• St Thomas Aquinas, Wednesday 6 December, 11:30 am to 12:00 pm
• QWIRE ACT, Saturday 16 December, 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm
• Spence Community Choir, Friday 22 December, 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm
