Major upgrades are planned for the Blackall Street Intersection on Kings Avenue to facilitate the opening of the John Gorton Campus Car Park later this year. Roadworks are scheduled to commence from Monday 26 August 2024 and will include:
Due to the extensive services relocation works and upgrades required, the works have been programmed to take place simultaneously across three workfaces to minimise long-term disruption. Where possible works will be managed outside of peak usage times to reduce the impact on road users.
