Celebrate the 35th anniversary of Australian Parliament House!
The Parliament House Open Day is the place to be on Sunday 8 October.
Enjoy creative hands-on activities, demonstrations and displays, and rare access to private areas of this award-winning building including the Senate and House of Representatives chambers.
There is something for all ages: music, great food, performances and more. Kids will enjoy craft activities, LEGO building and parliament role plays.
The Australian Parliament House Open Day highlights will take place outside the iconic building too.
You will be able to head to the roof-top and get a closer view of Parliament House’s giant Australian National flag while taking in the sweeping views of Canberra.
Visit the colourful spring-flowering courtyard gardens and enjoy a special aerobatic finale by the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes.
We hope to see you there!
This is a FREE event and no tickets are required
