Join The Bloody Long Walk in Canberra!
It's a 35km challenge, owned and operated by the Mito Foundation which is the only organisation in Australia dedicated to supporting and empowering people impacted by mitochondrial disease (mito).
Mito is a debilitating genetic disorder that robs the body’s cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure and potentially death. One Australian baby born each week will develop a severe or life-threatening form of mito. That’s over 50 Australian children each year.
Walk, jog or run and enjoy spectacular scenery whilst raising vital funds to help find cures for mito!
