Landscape renewal at the forecourt of the National Library of Australia

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 2 of the National Land (Unleased) Ordinance 2022 of the intention to close the following roads in the ACT.

In order to facilitate landscape renewal works taking place in the area, the following road closure will be in place:

Wednesday 22 of March to Friday 30 June 2023

  • A partial road and path closure to the unnamed loop road surrounding the forecourt.
  • The road closure is associated with the landscape renewal works, including the replacement of the trees, at the forecourt of the National Library of Australia. 
  • The adjacent carpark will remain accessible.

     

Traffic in the area will be directed by lane closure signs and traffic marshals as required.
