King Edward Terrace – Westbound between Langton Crescent and Parkes Place west
From Tuesday 30 July through to Thursday 1 August a detour will be in place for road users travelling westbound on King Edward Tce between Langton Crescent and Parkes Place west.
Works will take place between 9:30am an 4pm each day. Traffic will return to the normal arrangement outside of these work hours.
There is no change for road users travelling eastbound on King Edward Terrace.
Access to the westbound and eastbound bus stops on King Edward Terrace will be maintained and bus services will continue to operate according to the current timetable.

King Edward Terrace – Parkes Place west and Parkes Place east
From Friday 2 August through to Wednesday 7 August a detour will be in place for road users travelling westbound on King Edward Tce between Parkes Place west and Parkes Place east.
Works will take place between 9:30am an 4pm on the weekdays only. Traffic will return to the normal arrangement outside of these work hours.
The short-term parking along westbound on King Edward Tce will not be available during the detour period.
There is no change for road users travelling eastbound on King Edward Terrace.

Our standard construction work hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and on Saturdays between 7am and 1pm.
Low noise activities will take place between 6pm and 8pm and 6am and 7am. Activities will include moving materials, inspecting machinery, conducting pre-start meetings, cleaning work areas, removing temporary fencing and placing bollards.
Some oversized deliveries are required to be made at night due to road restrictions. These oversized trucks will come into the closure area or compound and will be unloaded before the truck leaves.
Upkeep of landscaping at Vernon Circle will take place between 7am and 6pm on one Saturday each month. During this work there may be lane closures and traffic control in place around the area.
Graffiti removal and fencing maintenance will be done around the site between 6pm and 7am, Monday to Friday, and 6am and 6pm on Saturdays.
