In order to facilitate the 2024 Australia Day Flag Raising Citizenship Ceremony, the following car parks, roads and paths will be temporarily closed:
ROND TERRACE carpark
WENDOUREE DRIVE – Southbound from CONSTITUTION AVENUE to BLUNDELLS COTTAGE
RG MENZIE SHARED PATH - 5am - 2pm
Central Basin Lake Burley Griffin
5am - 10:45 am
The entirety of Central Basin, Lake Burley Griffin (between Commonwealth Avenue Bridge and Kings Avenue Bridge) will be closed to all Lake Users (including commercial vessels) between 5:00am to 10:45am on 26 January 2024 to facilitate this event.
