Construction Management Plan - Block 8 Section 5 Campbell

The NCA invited interested people and organisations to provide written comments on the Construction Management Plan (CMP) for works at Block 8 Section 5 Campbell. This CMP related to previously approved works approval application WA19655. On 30 September 2015, the NCA approved the CMP. The Consultation Report for this application is now available below. The National Capital Authority (NCA) has prepared a Consultation Report for Works Approval application 20078 (WA20078) for the construction management plan (CMP) associated with the development of Block 8 Section 5 Campbell ('St Germain apartments')

The Report was prepared in accordance with the NCA's 'Commitment to Community Engagement (February 2015)' which details how the NCA conducts consultation. The full consultation report is below.

Purpose of Report

The purpose of the report is to provide a greater level of consistency and transparency in the NCA's decision making process. The Consultation Report outlines the submissions received and provides responses to any of the issues raised. Public consultation took place between 26 August 2015 and 15 September 2015.

Comments

The NCA received two written submission during the consultation period. The key issues raised during public consultation were:

1. Construction noise during ceremonial events at the Australian War Memorial
2. Traffic and noise impacts on nearby residents
3. Monitoring of development impacts and developer commitments

Outcome

On 30 September 2015, works approval was granted to WA20078 for the construction management plan (CMP) associated with the development of Block 8 Section 5 Campbell ('St Germain apartments').
