Public consultation has now closed.
Last Friday, the Grand Pacific Group was announced as the successful Hospitality Services Licensee who will begin offering a range of catering services at the newly transformed hospitality venue at Regatta Point, expected to be completed late this year.
Works are currently underway on the cafe/restaurant at Regatta Point with COVID-19 causing some delays on this project. At this stage we are looking at construction completion in winter 2021, if there are no further delays. Please keep an eye on this page for any further updates.
The National Capital Authority (NCA) has received an internal works approval application for alterations and additions to the Regatta Point Pavilion, corner of Barrine Drive and Regatta Place (Block 5 Section 2 Parkes). The proposal aims to improve and enlarge the hospitality services and areas, provide access for pedestrians and service vehicles, and improve linkages to Commonwealth Park.
The plans and supporting documentation for this works application can be viewed below.
The NCA welcomes feedback on this application by close of business on Friday, 21 February 2020. Submissions may be made by:
- Email to worksapproval@nca.gov.au
- Letter to The National Capital Authority, GPO Box 373, Canberra, ACT, 2601
