Block 5 Section 22 Barton (19 National Circuit) – Demolition and Site Redevelopment

A works approval application has been submitted to the NCA by Canberra Town Planning. The application is for demolition and redevelopment works to Block 5 Section 22 Barton (19 National Circuit).

The proposal comprises:

• Demolition of the existing four (4) storey 7,775m2 office building, including demolition of the existing undercroft / podium car park, existing landscape and services;
• Construction of a new six (6) storey 21,483m2 office building with two (2) internal atriums, Cafe on Ground Level (133m2), Roof Plant, Two (2) levels of basement car parking (225 parking spaces, 8 disabled car parking spaces, 8 motorbike spaces and 3 short stay spaces); and
• Associated landscaping and site works.
