The Canberra and Region Heritage Festival is back for 2022 and the theme is 'Curiosity'. It invites audiences to challenge how they see the tangible and intangible heritage that makes our region unique.
As part of the Heritage Festival, the National Capital Authority has prepared some fun activities for the whole family.

Did you know that the National Capital Exhibition has one hundred precious stone artifacts from the Gillespie Collection on display? Join curator and archaeologist Kenneth Heffernan and Ngambri- Ngunnawal Elder Matilda House for afternoon tea and yarn as they examine this extraordinary collection.

Does your child love building cities? Book them in for our unique model making workshop and they will craft little buildings, mini monuments, and even tiny trees for their very own Itty Bitty City!
